Since 1998, I have practiced in the area of ethics and professional responsibility.  While an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel for the Supreme Court of Ohio's Office of Disciplinary Counsel, I prosecuted judges and attorneys for violations of the Code of Professional Responsibility and the Code of Judicial Conduct.  While doing so, it became apparent that many of the people I was prosecuting were in desparate need of defense counsel.  When I left ODC in 2002, I immediately developed a practice defending those being investigated and charged with disciplinary violations.  It has proven to be very rewarding.
